Daily Schedule

  • As children arrive, they can engage in free play until all of their friends have arrived.

  • AM Snack

  • Morning circle: Morning circle is a vital community-building time. The teachers will check in with the students by giving them a space to share how they are feeling. This is when students and teachers will sing their welcoming/name songs. During this time they will review classroom expectations, have group discussions about what the plans are for the day, etc.

  • Stations: Teachers will have multiple stations for students to choose from in specific areas within the classroom. These stations vary from arts & crafts, science stations, language skills, sensory bin, etc. Each station is deliberately planned to pair with the day/weekly theme and is developmentally appropriate. Students will have the opportunity to select their preferred station, subject to space availability. In cases where a station is at full capacity, educators will recommend exploring an alternative option. Once space becomes available, students can then join the desired station.

  • Outside time: Bikes, outside toys, and a play structure will be available for students to enjoy.

  • Wash up, get ready for lunch

  • Wash up/Bathroom break, get ready for Nap/ Quiet time

  • wash up from snack, End the Day circle, whole group storytime. This is where we discuss the days of the week, holidays, weather, etc.

  • Pick up time for full-time

  • Pick up time for part-time, PM snack
