Abrianna (Abby) has been a preschool teacher for 3 and a half years, but has experience working with children for around 10 years. She received her bachelor’s degree in English Literature before discovering her passion for teaching. She is hoping to return to school to pursue her Masters degree in Early Childhood Education. She has experience using the Creative Curriculum and Montessori Method. She believes that because each child is unique, it is important to use a variety of learning styles to best fit each child’s individual learning needs. Abby is originally from Pennsylvania, but she and her husband moved to Oregon about 2 years ago. They fell in love with the nature and hiking opportunities in the Pacific Northwest, and they are excited to plant their roots here. In her free time, Abby loves hiking, cooking, reading, gardening, playing with her two cats, and spending time with family and friends.

Our Teachers
Our teachers are qualified and trained, carry a CBR (Central Background Registry) before hiring, and are selected to work with children and families from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
Color Wings Preschool will also have a garden, where children learn about fostering an understanding of the plant growth process, including food, flowers, and herbs. Alternatively, students may opt to interact with the soil, gaining insights into mycelium, insects, and their habitats.
